No. Having a credit card makes the identity confirmation process faster, but you can also confirm your identity by uploading a copy of other pieces of government-issued photo ID (e.g. your driver's licence or passport).

You can send us your ID documents using lotoquebec.com’s upload feature. You can access the platform one of two ways:

- Once you’ve created your profile (after having duly completed the three preliminary steps and indicated your profession)

OR

- By clicking on the My Espacejeux icon, then on ID Confirmation. This option will remain active until you’ve sent in your ID documents. If this option is no longer active, then you can no longer upload any ID documents.

Follow these steps to upload your ID documents:

Step 1
Click on the Pieces of ID tab.

Make sure to read the information provided. You must upload a document for each of the two required categories: a document with your name and date of birth, and a document with your name and address.

Once you’ve chosen the documents that you want to upload, please take a clear picture of each one with your smartphone or tablet, or by scanning them.

Next, save your documents on your computer and rename them, if necessary. Be sure to save your documents under an accepted file extension. We accept documents with the following file extensions: .pdf, .jpg, .png, .jpeg and .pjpeg.

Click on Upload My Documents at the bottom of the page.

Step 2
Click on Select a file.

Important: Please note that the steps to follow differ depending on whether you’re uploading the documents from your computer or from your smartphone or tablet. The following screenshots apply only to uploads done by computer.

Next, find where you stored your documents on your computer. Select the first document, make sure that it has the right file extension, and click Open.

If the document doesn’t have the right file extension, a message will pop up indicating that the file could not be uploaded. A reminder that we accept documents with the following file extensions: .pdf, .jpg, .png, .jpeg and .pjpeg.

Step 3
Your document will appear on the left side of the screen, as shown below. To add your second document, click Select a file again.

Select the document, make sure that it has the right file extension, and click Open.

Step 4
Make sure that the documents you selected are the right ones. If so, click on Send to submit your documents. If not, delete one or both documents by clicking on the “X” and repeat Steps 2, 3 and 4 as needed.

Processing your request
You’ll receive an email notifying you that your Espacejeux account is open once we’ve gone over your documents and confirmed your identity. You’ll be able to enjoy all that our gaming website has to offer only once you receive this email.

In the log-in window, click on “Forgot your username?”. Enter the email address you used to register for your account. Your username will be emailed to you. If you don’t see the email, make sure you provided the same email address as in your Espacejeux account, or check your spam folder.

Follow the steps below.

Enter your username and postal code. Click on Submit.

Make sure to provide the same information as in your Espacejeux account, otherwise a temporary password will not be emailed to you.

Step 3
Check your emails. You should have received a temporary password (if the information you provided was accurate). Copy the temporary password.

Step 4
Go back on lotoquebec.com to log in with the temporary password.

Please note that it can only be used to log in to lotoquebec.com. It can’t be used to log in to our apps (e.g. Lotteries, Mise-o-jeu, OK POKER or any other app).

- Enter your username.
- Paste your temporary password.
- Click on Log in.

Step 5
Answer your security question and click on Submit.

Step 6
Paste again the temporary password. Enter your new password, then confirm it. Click on Submit.

Success! Your new password has been saved.

Click on the Espacejeux account icon, then Account Details. In the Personal Information section, pick another security question, and enter your answer. Next, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Save.

Yes. Games are available on the mobile site which is optimized for tablets and smartphones. Sports betting allows you to bet real money with the Mise-o-jeu app and you can, as well, purchase some lotteries with the Lotteries app.

Your game history is available in your account, under Account History. You can access the description and details of your games during 13 months. To add a credit card

Step 1
In your Espacejeux account, click on the My Espacejeux icon, then on Deposit.

Use the information on your credit card to fill out the following fields: Card type,* Card Number* and Expiry Date,* then click on Submit.

A confirmation message will pop up indicating that your credit card information has been saved. Click on Back to My account to go back to the main menu.

Step 5
In the left-hand menu, click on Deposits.

There, you should see your credit card information. The last four digits of your credit card number should appear next to the Credit Card/Visa Debit payment method.

 

To update your credit card information

Step 1
In your Espacejeux account, click on the My Espacejeux icon, then on Deposit.

Step 2
Select the Credit Card/Visa Debit payment method, then click on Change.

Step 3
Use the information on your credit card to edit the following fields: Card type,* Card Number* and Expiry Date,* then click on Submit.

Step 4
A confirmation message will pop up indicating that your credit card information has been updated. Click on Back to My Account to go back to the main menu.

Step 5
In the left-hand menu, click on Deposits.

There, you should see your updated credit card information. The last four digits of your new credit card number should appear next to the Credit Card/Visa Debit payment method.

The supplier name (some banks use the expression “payee”) is Espacejeux. You can find your account number in the Account Details section of the web site and mobile.

You haven’t lost any money! It may be that the amount of money you deposited exceeds your weekly deposit limit. If it does, please note that the surplus will be redeposited in your bank account. Make sure that your banking information is saved in your Espacejeux account. Otherwise, check out the How do I enter my banking information in order to make a withdrawal question for information on what to do.

For a better understanding, consider this example:

  • Today is Thursday. The weekly deposit limit is valid from Sunday at midnight to the following Saturday at 11:59 p.m.
  • On Thursday, you deposit $25 in your Espacejeux account. Your weekly deposit limit is set to $40.
  • You log in to your Espacejeux account and see that only $20 has been posted to your account, rather than $25.
  • You start to worry that, somehow, you lost $5.
  • You check your Espacejeux account again and remember that you made a $20 deposit a few days prior, i.e. this past Sunday.
  • You then realize that you tried to deposit $45 in one week, which is $5 above your weekly limit.
  • The $5 surplus will be redeposited in your bank account.

Follow these steps to enter your banking information.

Please have a sample cheque for your bank account ready.

Step 1
In your Espacejeux account, click on the My Espacejeux icon, then on Withdrawals.

Step 2
Provide the requested information (this information can easily be found on your sample cheque):

- The name of your financial institution

- Your transit number

- The institution number

- Your account number

Then click on Next.

Step 3
A confirmation message will pop up indicating that your banking information has been saved. You’re almost done, just one more step!

An amount between $0.01 and $0.99 will be deposited in your bank account to ensure that the banking information you entered is correct. Because the deposit will only appear in your bank account in the next 48 business hours, we ask that you wait 1 or 2 days before checking whether the money was deposited.

Click on Continue.

Step 4
Once you see the deposit in your bank account, take note of the amount. Then go back to your Espacejeux account and, in the Withdrawals section, enter the amount in the Amount Deposited by Espacejeux* field (in our example, the amount is $0.12).

Then click on Submit.

Your banking information is now saved.

Click on Continue.

Banking transactions can take anywhere from three to five business days to process. For your peace of mind, please keep the confirmation email you received when you made your withdrawal request.

You can only do this by logging in to our gaming website. You must first save your personal banking information, then enter the amount you want to withdraw in the Withdrawals section. The amount will then be transferred to your bank account.

Whenever you place a bet, the system automatically looks first at your Free Bet balance, and if your balance is insufficient, takes the difference from your Espacejeux account. Loss limit

If you have decreased your playing time, deposit or spending limits, your request will take effect immediately. However, if you have increased your playing time or spending limits, the change will take effect 48 hours after your request is made. If you have raised your weekly deposit limit, the change will take effect after 24 hours.

Setting a deposit limit does not constitute an automatic transfer request, but rather it is a means to establish the maximum amount that you can deposit to your Espacejeux account over a 7-day period (from Sunday to Saturday).
